Il a bien
plu sur les Ardennes durant ces deux jours. Rien de dramatique. Au
contraire, la pluie va rendre les sols plus souples et moins
traumatisants pour les articulations et pieds de nos équidés. Pour
samedi, on prévoit une alternance de passages nuageux et éclaircies avec
l'une ou l'autre averse. Prévoyez donc une couverture de pluie.
It has been raining well during the last two days. Nothing alarming. On the contrary, that will make the going better, with less concussion for the joints and feet or our equine friends. For Saturday, the forecasts are on 'scattered showers alternating with clear sky'. So pack a rain rug...
World Class Start and Potential Squad set off for Belgium... (From endurancegb.co.uk website)

Baker, Chef d'Equipe for the World Class Start and Potential Squad has
reported that all horses and riders are fit and well and will meet at
Dover on Tuesday 26th April to begin their Team trip to Mont Le Soie in
Belgium. The ride is to take place on Saturday, 30th April 2011.
The Team comprises:

Fiona Griffiths - Dear Kate,
Sue Higgins - Aberllywds Another Rose,
Annie Ings - Alpha
| Also travelling with the Team are those
members of the Potential Squad looking to add to their FEI qualifications and support the Team: Rachel Atkinson - Vanash, Claire Bruce - Ah Diba, Lesley-Ann Parker - Velvet Echo, Sue Rich - Czako and Young Rider Louise Rich - Cziko. We wish them all the best for a safe and successful trip. |

Il y aura
aussi du monde sur les différentes courses nationales le dimanche 1er
mai. 70 inscrits sur les courses de 30 à 80 km (dont beaucoup de
cavaliers hollandais qui viendront se frotter aux dénivelés des
Ardennes) auxquels il faut ajouter les inscriptions de dernière minute
et les initiations sur 20km. Un bon week-end en perspective. Suivez ce

There will be more than 70 horses at the start of the various
qualifications rides (from 30 to 80km), including a dutch armada which
will get the taste of the hilly Ardennes. We can also expect a couple of
dozen horse on the novice 20km ride. So all in all a good week-end for
the Belgian endurance. Follow this link for the

La liste
des engagés est maintenant connue (Suivre ce
lien). Environ 80 couples sur les
courses internationales, ce qui n'avait encore jamais été le cas à Mont
Le Soie. La météo sea normalement clémente; on annonce une alternance de
nuages et d'éclaircies pour le week-end.
The list of starters is now available (follow this link). There will be eighty couples competing on the various races during the week-end. This is the first time that Mont Le Soie will be welcoming as many as participants. The weather forecast are favorable : there will be sunshine and clouds with normally no showers.

On
annonce un très bon niveau de participation, aussi bien le samedi que le
dimanche. Une petite dizaine de hollandais, cinq ou six allemands, huit
français, une armada de britanniques viendront tâter le terrain et le
dénivelé de l'est de la Belgique.
ATRM, la société française de pointe pour le chronométrage des courses d'endurance, sera là pour gérer la course et nous donner comme à son habitude classements instantanés, chrono à la seconde, tableau de redéparts, etc.
Et, last but not least, le commentateur attitré Hervé Guesdon nous fera profiter de son dynamisme et de ses commentaires éclairés.
