Like previous year, the event was held at the Domaine de Menil, in Vielsalm, in the south eastern part of Belgium, not far from the famous racetrack of Spa-Francorchamps.
This time, the Belgian Equestrian Endurance League proposed a 2 days ride (2 x 80 Kms) and this was a full success. Every rider liked very much this change and many entered the ride in order to prepare new and young horses. One could see that the horses were looking stronger and in great shape after the second day.
17 riders took the start, including 2 Dutch riders and one French rider. Finally, the young rider Tina Redant showed the great quality of her horse by winning the event by staying alone at the lead for the whole second day. 12 riders completed the ride.
Due to the overall satisfaction, the Belgian Equestrian Endurance League will most probably repeat the same system next year, but by proposing a CEI-B or CEI-A international event!
